Cahaya Manthovani is the Managing Director of Navaswara, a media and event organizer company that develops education and culture driven programs with real social impact. Through Navaswara, she works closely with students and teachers across Indonesia through national storytelling competitions, encouraging the use of Indonesian folklore and rebuilding storytelling skills that have slowly faded in classrooms.
Her work often brings her into direct conversations with ministers, governors, and public leaders, where she conducts interviews, learns about policy priorities, and explores ideas that may grow into future collaborations. These exchanges allow her to connect creative initiatives with public policy, education, and long-term community development.
Alongside Navaswara, Cahaya is actively involved in Yayasan Inklusi Pelita Bangsa, where she supports the MBG Inclusive Schools program in collaboration with Grab Indonesia and OVO. The program uses a digital system that allows schools to manage food orders and feedback transparently, supported by Grab’s delivery network and on-site CCTV monitoring to maintain hygiene and accountability. She also occasionally accompanies disabled athletes in international competitions, supporting inclusive participation beyond the classroom.
